My story
-
I understand the frustration of trying to lead, or being led, and being stuck- stuck in status quo expectations, stuck in systems that don’t bring out the best in the team, stuck in methods that just don’t work. I hate being stuck, and I hate seeing people stuck.
So, in the last few years, I made it my mission to learn how to bring change to stuckness. (Probably not a word, but it should be.)
Now, whether I’m doing leadership coaching, leadership labs, or invited to speak, I bring a belief that change is possible, and I bring skills honed to help make it happen.
-
As a leader with 30 years of experience in nonprofit and for-profit organizations, in both the US and the UK, I have had numerous instances where I was underutilized and not empowered to bring my whole self to the mission. I have also been that leader who didn’t know how to help their team thrive. I know the frustration that brings for everyone!
Now it is my passion to help leaders stop that frustrating cycle and get to work unlocking everyone’s potential, including their own.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s in Public Health, a Master’s in Biblical Studies and Theology, and I’m currently completing my doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
After three years of coursework, I’m now in the final stretch — researching and writing my dissertation on best practices in leadership development for women and men to thrive together, set to be completed by Spring 2026.
Additionally, in 2024, to supplement my doctorate, I completed 100+ coaching course hours and 100+ coaching client hours, and passed the exam for the International Coaching Federation- the gold standard for executive coaching.
These educational experiences have served me well to serve people who feel stuck in their leadership.

My mission is to bring practical and easy-to-implement solutions to everyday leadership development problems.
I am committed to helping you and your team discover how to be the best version of yourselves.
I start with believing in the potential in the room, not just in the boardroom, but also in the offices down the hall.
I bet you do too, but I know it’s hard to get out of old patterns. Unfortunately, doing things the same way gets the same results. That is why hiring a strategic thought partner to help you draw out the best in people and help teams move forward with clarity and purpose is likely what you need.
My mission is to be that thought partner, help interrupt the old patterns, and coach people in new ways where they work together - working smarter, not harder.
